First 2009 Season Party 3/27/09
Our first team party will be held after our home varsity game against East Lansing on March 27th. We will be having the party at WMU's College of Aviation. We are asking everyone to bring at least 1-2 2 liters of pop and a dish to pass.

Booster Club Meeting Minutes from February 2009
Lakeview Lacrosse Booster Club
Meeting Minutes
02/11/09
Attendance: Lisa Ottenhoff, BJ Pierce, Jean Clark, Kris Demarest, Theresa Glidden, Terry Tassos, Jennifer Dehn, Tammy Reichkitzer.
Meeting called to order at 6:08 P.M.
1. Review of Minutes
The minutes from the previous meeting dated 01/14/09 were reviewed. A motion to accept was made by Lisa Ottenhoff and seconded by Kris Demarest. Motion passed.
2. President’s Report
a. Jerseys are expected to arrive the first week in March.
b. Coach’s equipment: Order placed through Athlete’s Connection for one box of balls at a cost of $110.00. CRT is sponsoring team and is supplying the team with an agility ladder and hurdles. The booster club will purchase supplies for coaching sticks and they will be made by Ken Glidden.
c. Display Box: Jean Clark will coordinate. Waiting to hear from
Mr. Norstrom.
Motion to approve President’s Report made by Lisa Ottenhoff and seconded by Jean Clark. Motion passed.
3. Vice President’s Report
There is no report to review.
4. Treasurer’s Report
Report reviewed. Motion made by BJ Pierce to reissue lost check in the amount of $108.10 to Lisa Ottenhoff, seconded by Terry Tassos. Motion passed.
5. Fundraising
a. Towels: Kris Demarest will sell at basketball concessions.
b. Flags: Terry Tassos will talk with the team about selling flags. Cost/Sale Prices: car flags: $19.00, will sell for $25.00; garden flags: $16.00 will sell for $20.00; large flags: $37.00 will sell for $45.00; large Lakeview LAX flag: $40.00 will sell for $45.00.
c. Blankets: Cost will be $32.95 and will sell for $45.00. Terry Tassos will create order form.
d. Candles: Sale will be held March 30 through April 24. Profit potential: 40% of sales.
e. Posters/Program/Sponsors: The booster club decided against proceeding with the poster fundraiser. Sponsorship form needs to be created for the program books
f. Parent/Player Code of Conduct: Jean Clark will work on.
6. Pictures
Jean Clark will make contact with Jeff Broughton to see if he is interested in taking team pictures. Would like pictures taken the first week in March after jerseys arrive.
7. Miscellaneous
The booster club is seeking a volunteer for concession chair. Lisa Ottenhoff will see about an announcer for the home games. First practice will be held on March 9.
A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Lisa Ottenhoff and seconded by Theresa Glidden. Meeting adjourned at 7:41 P.M.

Practices
Practices will now be held at Greenfield, Monday through Friday 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm. Everyone must have their physicals turned in to the office, and must have their school insurance paid.

The Lakeview Lacrosse Booster Club for December 2008 will be held on Wednesday December 10th at LHS in The Forum at 6:00 pm.
